Hi! I'm Khaya, a product engineer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is my professional space, meant to pitch the person on the other side of this screen why I'm legit. For the personal side of me, check out my personal site.
I began programming at the age of 12, and I've been building ever since. Developing a deep interest in the intersection of design and engineering and passion for building.
For the past 5 years, that passion has led me through various roles, from founding a startup and running developer communities to building dev tools. I’ve seen it all and slowly built up the skills to build well designed, well engineered and overall well crafted software (inc. this site).
When I'm not building, I'm still building and thinking about the future of the web in an age of AI. If you a small team building something cool, I'd love to hear about it.
